About me

My name is Thiago Duarte. I have been trading Forex since 2007 when I was just 16 years old. Three years later decided to trade indices and commodities too.  As a self-taught trader, I was always hungry to learn more and I found answers on books, YouTube videos, contacting other experience traders and mostly important, trying it myself and learning from the harder way.

Four years ago I decided to give another step forward by opening an investment company called Duarte Investment Group. It is based in London and we offer especially to Londoners and also South Americans another option to invest their money. Since then we received a better than expected number of investors which I was very surprised by the response but a lot of hard work was done to be where we are today. At the moment I am nearly finishing my Economics and Financial Markets degree at Kingston University in London which is expanding my fundamental side of my trade dramatically.

My expertise is price action, understand the market in the way it acts and also fundamental, not in a professional level but at least have an idea of why the market is stronger in one bias than the other. For confirmation before I entered into a trade I use candlesticks patterns, chart patterns, RSI indicator and a basic level of Elliott Waves to give me support on my trading plan.

Another passion that I always had is to help other people to be successful too so for that reason I give English and Portuguese speakers the option to learn how to trade with me for free with many resources which I provide such as Blog posts, live market analysis, live webinars and I answer many questions via email and Twitter.
